Data subjects and the purpose of processing their personal data
Job applicants
We process the personal data of job applicants for recruitment decision-making purposes. The processing is primarily based on legitimate interests and consent from you, if you give us consent to save the data you have provided in the recruitment process for future job opportunities. Personal data to be processed include data provided by the job applicant via e-mail, phone, our recruitment system, or during an interview. Such data include the job applicant's contact information, information about their education and job experience, and data given by the job applicant during an interview. With the job applicant's consent, data can also be requested from a referee named by the applicant.
Customers
The purpose of processing the personal data of customers is contacting the customers and maintaining customerships. The processing is primarily based on legitimate interests and a contract. In our line of business, it is necessary to be in contact with the customers and their contact persons. Personal data to be processed include the customers' contact information, information about their contracts, and customer feedback. The data are collected from the customers themselves via e-mail, phone, from their contracts, from customer satisfaction surveys, and during customer meetings.
Website visitors and anyone who provided their contact information on the website
The IP addresses of website visitors and any cookies necessary for the functions of the service are processed based on legitimate interests for the purposes of, for example, maintaining data security and gathering website visit statistics in those cases where the data is considered to be personal data. The visitors will be asked to consent separately for third-party cookies if necessary.
The purposes of processing the personal data of anyone who provided their contact information on our website include marketing purposes and contact between Welado and the person who left their contact information. Processing is based on legitimate interests and consent. The visitor provides the data themself as they request to download content, submit a contact request, or register for an event. Such data include contact information such as name, phone number, and e-mail. You have the right to cancel your consent for the processing of your personal data at any time by contacting us at info@welado.fi.
Releasing or transferring of personal data
As a rule, we do not release personal data to outsiders. If data are released to outsiders, we will request for consent.
Personal data may be transferred outside the European Union or the European Economic Area to the extent to which it has been saved in Microsoft O365 services (personal data of customers and those who provided their contact information at the website). Microsoft uses standard clauses in the data transfers of their corporate network services. The standard clauses are standard terms approved by the European Commission that may be used when data is to be transferred outside the European Economic Area in accordance with the GDPR. Microsoft also has the Privacy Shield certificate. The Privacy Shield arrangement between the EU and the United States helps customers transfer their data to the United States in compliance with data security requirements. Any personal data transfers are always executed in compliance with the applicable data security legislation.
Our recruiting system supplier, Sympa Oy, has access to the personal data of job applicants, and they are in compliance with the GDPR requirements about processing personal data.
Data storage periods
Job applicants
After the completion of the recruitment process, the personal data of job applicants are stored for 6 months or 12 months, according to your consent. This helps us to check for any factors affecting the recruitment decision, if necessary. If you wish to interrupt the recruitment process for your part, and would like us to delete your personal data, please inform us at rekry@welado.fi.
Customers
The personal data of customers are stored for the duration of the customership and after its termination in accordance with the requirements of any legislation in force at the time.
Website visitors and anyone who provided their contact information on the website
We only store the contact information of people who provided their details on our website for the duration of time that is necessary for the purpose of use of the personal data. Any unnecessary personal data, the storage or processing of which we no longer have the legal basis for, are deleted with regular intervals.
Basis for protecting the register
Personal data is processed with due diligence, and any data processed using information systems are protected with a login and password. We take precautions to ensure that stored data, access to systems and servers, and any other information critical for the security of personal data is processed with confidentiality and only by authorized employees with relevant job descriptions.
Other rights related to processing of personal data
